Personal info

Using Corrente's cloud features requires a Corrente account, identified by your email address. Beyond that, Corrente does not collect personal information, and it never sells your data or uses it for advertising.

How we collect info

Corrente reads energy data — such as solar generation, battery state of charge, grid import and export, and home consumption — from the energy systems you choose to connect, including Tesla Powerwall and a Basis switchboard.

To do this you authorise Corrente with each service using that service's own sign-in. Corrente only reads the data those services expose for your own systems.

How we store your credentials

The OAuth tokens and API keys used to reach your energy services are stored in your device's Keychain. When you sign in to a Corrente account, they are also synced to CorrenteServer so it can fetch your energy data on your behalf. They are only ever used to talk to the services you connected.

How we use your info

Your energy data is used only to display your live status, history, costs, and ROI inside the app. It is not used for advertising or analytics.

CorrenteServer

Corrente's cloud features are provided by CorrenteServer, a service operated by Corrente's developer. It fetches from your energy providers and stores your energy data — such as daily cost snapshots, circuit history, and your retail plan — so your history stays available without repeatedly querying those services.

This stored energy data is anonymised: it is associated only with your Corrente account, and is not linked to any other personal identifying information.

When we share your info

Corrente shares your requests only with the energy services you have connected, in order to fetch your own data. Nothing is shared with any other third party.
